Business education for people who already did the hard part

Glow Pros Academy was built by someone still running a clinic, for practitioners who were taught everything about technique and nothing about running a business.

The gap nobody warns you about

You can spend anywhere between three thousand and a hundred and fifty thousand pounds becoming excellent at what you do. Training, equipment, insurance, premises. Then you open the doors and find that none of it covered pricing, cash flow, retention, or what to do when a client complains.

That is not a failure of ambition. It is a gap in how this industry trains people, and it catches almost everyone.

Who writes this

I am Amelia Moore. I run a specialist non-surgical body contouring and wellness clinic in Bury St Edmunds, and I have run businesses for fifteen years.

I studied business to degree level and I am a member of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs. The frameworks taught here are the ones taught on business degrees and enterprise qualifications, aligned with the IOEE National Enterprise Standards and the EntreComp framework, with the originator, the date and the evidence still attached.

The worked examples come from a treatment room. Every framework here was tested in my own clinic, on my own numbers, before it was written down for anybody else, and you will see the real figures, including the ones that did not work.

What that means in practice

Real numbers

The figures in the lessons come from a working clinic, not from a spreadsheet built to illustrate a point.

Real problems

Including the complaint file, the quiet months, and the treatments that turned out to be losing money.

Real constraints

Written for someone doing this alongside a full treatment diary, not for a full time student.

How the teaching is structured

Six pillars, running from foundation through to freedom. Each one covers a part of the business that clinical training leaves out, and each one arrives with the frameworks, the audit and the next action rather than theory on its own.

Every module is mapped to the national occupational standards for enterprise, the same public benchmarks used to build formal business qualifications. That is why the frameworks arrive named, dated and attributed rather than as somebody's opinion, and it means the learning outcomes are written against a standard you can go and check rather than one I made up.

The intention throughout is that you can read a lesson in the gap between clients and do something with it the same week.
